SERANOA NETWORKS APPOINTS SALLY BAMENT AS SENIOR VP OF MARKETING
Veteran Telecommunications Marketing Executive Joins Seranoa’s Management Team to Expand Market Presence
Boxborough, Mass - February 3, 2004 - Seranoa Networks, the leading provider of Service Edge Concentrators, strengthened its management team with the appointment of Sally Bament to Senior Vice President of Marketing. In her new role Bament will oversee all product marketing, product management and marketing communications initiatives, helping to expand Seranoa’s presence among leading global Service Providers.

Sally Bament has over 20 years of marketing, product and engineering management experience in the telecommunications industry. Most recently, Sally was Vice President of Marketing for Convergent Networks, a leading provider of broadband voice infrastructure solutions for competitive carriers, where she launched and positioned the company as a high-profile early leader, and contributed to shipping over two million ports of the company’s voice-over-packet media gateway products. Prior to Convergent, Sally served as Vice President of Product Management at Wellfleet Communications/Bay Networks, and following its acquisition, at Nortel Networks. During Sally’s tenure at Bay Networks/Wellfleet she was responsible for executing short and long term product plans for the company’s IP and routing product division contributing in excess of $600M annually from worldwide sales to enterprise and carrier customers. Sally has also held several management positions with Coral Networks and Motorola Codex Corporation.
